This Arctic Grip shoe is designed for winter and features solid brass milled hardware, Goodyear welt construction, Thermo polyurethane toe and heel bumper for added durability, a steel shank, and an Arctic grip oil and slip-resistant outsole. A blended merino wool lining absorbs moisture and remains warm, even when wet. Insulation zones with ultra thin, synthetic 800g Thinsulate insulation is lightweight and provides warmth without the bulk, even in the tongue where heat loss often occurs. The Arctic Toe wraps full amounts of 3M Thinsulate insulation around the toe area without compressing it. This allows toes to stay just as warm as the rest of the foot. And the ergonomically designed AMP footbed is winterized with a top layer of merino wool that ensures cold feet will be a thing of the past. A composite toe provides protection, and meets or exceeds ASTM F2413 protective toe classification and electrical hazard F2413 standards.
