This men’s 9″ composite-toe work boot is part of the Georgia Comfort Core Logger collection. It has been built in accordance with the ASTM F2413 Protective Toe Classification – shields the tops of the Logger from feeling the full impact of dropped items- as well as the ASTM F2413 Electrical Hazard Standard – this will protect the bottoms of this work footwear against dangerous electrical equipment. Also, because these boots have been assembled with Goodyear welt construction, they’re tremendously durable, the overall structure is spectacularly strong and you can have the bottoms of the boots resoled quite easily. The upper has been primarily fashioned out of full-grain leather; you will like how smooth the texture feels and appreciate its hardiness. Armortex fabric has been positioned on the tongue; this superbly strong material can resist abrasions well and provides a terrific stretch. A brush guard kiltie (it’s removable) will obstruct items (pebbles, mud, vegetation, twigs, etc.) from getting into the interior. Also, because of the solid brass milled hardware (very durable) you will not have to worry about the laces being cut/torn while you are working; the Georgia Boot laces are guaranteed for life! A heavy emphasis was put on comfort when assembling the interior of these leather boots. GORE-TEX fabric contributes unbelievable waterproof protection and ensures that the work footwear remains breathable. The 400 grams of Thinsulate Ultra Insulation adds warmth to keep you at ease in cold settings, but it isn’t too much that it feels stifling or bulky in the least. Underneath your feet, the Comfort Core 7 (CC7) footbed delivers utterly fantastic support, outstanding cushioning and helps to absorb shock – it feels amazing!
