Its features include a slip and oil-resistant quiet non-marking rubber outsole with “siping” for added performance on wet or painted surfaces and ladder grip control treads that exceeds the ASTM F489-96 test standards, Electrical Hazard protection- ASTM F2412-11 and F2413-11, and a stitched toe and heel for durability and increased service life. Other features include a texon stability platform insole for lateral support and torsional stability that is airport friendly with nylon shank, a heel flex notch for increased mobility and Achilles tendon comfort, a removable, custom-fit EVA orthotic with PORON cushioning pads for all day comfort that is also treated with AEGIS, a polyurethane collar with perforations to help transport moist hot air out of the boot, durable brass alloy, and rust-proof hardware.
